Deborah Booth Armstrong
About (Biography)

Born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Deborah spent her early years climbing trees and reading and telling stories. Her work with the Child Evangelism Fellowship organization gave her the opportunity to exercise her storytelling abilities.

Deborah left West Virginia in 1967 and worked with the Salvation Army in Ohio.  As a camp counselor for underprivelidged children, her imaginative storytelling continued.  She studied drama, art and the humanities at Bryan College and the University of Tennessee. Her marriage to her husband Terry then took her to the bayous of Louisianna.  Here she attended Nichols State University studying poetry and speech therapy.

With the birth of her daughter Amanda in 1975 Deborah began journaling.  This expanded into a life long passion.

In 1998 her busy life in the Florida Keys was interrupted by a diagnosis of a disease doctors pronounced hopeless. Deborah fixed her eyes on her faith and with the love and support of family and friends, through her journals, she documented the trip through this valley.

Her writings are sprinkled with humor, hope, and praise to the One who is the Death Destroyer.

Deborah's first children's novel is expected to be out within the year.  The first in a trilogy of childern's fantasy, fiction books
